The following instructions apply to WampServer Ver. 2.5 64b. Will work for both 32b and 64b version of WampServer 2.2 also.

Download WampServer Here: http://www.wampserver.com/en/
Open the file downloaded and in the first dialog box select “Next”.
Licence Agreement: Select “I accept” then click “Next”.
Select Destination Location: Leave as “C:/wamp” or select another location and click “Next”.
Select Additional Tasks: Select options if needed or just leave unselected then click “Next”.
Ready to Install: Click “Install” and wait while the files are setup.
Please choose your default browser: During the setup process you will get a dialog box pop up asking for your browser. You can leave it as explorer or choose another browser.
Mail Options: Add your information or leave default values if unsure then click “Next”.
That’s it your all done. Click “Finish” and start using your new WampServer.

Backing up your Magento database using cPanel

To backup the Magento Database using cPanel login to your cPanel account and select:
Databases > phpMyAdmin

1. Select the Database you would like to backup then click Export in the top menu.

2. Select GO and save the database file in a safe place.
